In view of the recent changes done by the Airtel in their plans, recently they have changed into Rs. 23 plan to Rs. 45 plan. The new Rs 45/- plan is now the base plan of the Airtel network and it will give the same offer as Rs 23/- plan was giving. Airtel has discontinued their Rs 23 plan and in place of it, it has introduced Rs 45/- plan. A public notice has been issued by the Airtel that says the base plan of Rs 23/- will be discontinued from now and a new plan of Rs 45/- will be introduced for all their prepaid users. This current change witness a 95 percent hike in the prices of the base plan. The current plan is implemented in all the circles and a public notice has been issued in all the newspapers of India by the telecom operator.
The current notice says that new Rs. 45/- Airtel plan offers local and STD voice calling at 2.5 Paise per second, 50 paise for 1 MB data and 5 Paise for 1 second for national video calls. SMS charges are 1 rupee for local SMS, Rs 1.5 for national SMS and Rs 5 per SMS for international messages The validity of the present plan of Rs 45/- will be of 28 days. The services of the new plan are the same as the previous base plan of Rs. 23/-. the Rs. 23/- plan has now been discontinued. the updated plans of the telecom operator are live on the Airtel Thanks App and on its website as well.
The official notice in the starting line addresses all the users of Bharti Airtel Limited and the Bharti Hexacom limited (‘airtel’) in all their services region and informs them that the existing SUK base plan is discontinued within the effect of 29th December 2019. in addition to it, it will become necessary for the users to recharge with a new base plan of Rs 45 or above to use the services of the Bharti airtel limited. In case, the recharge of the mentioned amount is not done, then the services will be suspended after a mentioned grace period. In the notice, the grace period is up to 15 days. when the grace period is completed and recharge of the at least Rs 45/- is not done by the user then the telecom services to that number will be suspended. In case, the users recharge their number with another STV/CPMBO/ Top-up voucher equals to the Rs 45/- base recharge offer or above that, then their services will again be revived.
