Dish TV has removed the channel bouquet, free-to-air (FTA) channel packs, and lock-in periods applicable to individual channels. The new change is for both Dish TV and D2h subscribers. However, the lock-in period is still applicable to add-on packs and they range from 30 to 360 days depending on the pack duration. Dish TV first removed the lock-in period for its subscribers in early 2019, although it was later reverted.

As per the latest update, both Dish TV and its subsidiary D2H have removed the lock-in period applicable to channel bouquet, FTA channel pack, and individual channels. This means that customers will be able to remove any bouquet, channel pack, or individual channels on their DTH connection, without waiting for the completion of any fixed lock-in period.

This change is visible once you log in to Dish TV or D2h website with your credentials. Many users reported this news on the DreamDTH forum. The company has confirmed this change to Gadgets 360 for both Dish TV and D2H.
