E-commerce company Flipkart has opened online booking for customers. The company stated that these phones sales will be delivered nationwide. Flipkart launches smartphone booking to customers; delivery will start from or after April 20.
The second phase of lockdown in the country will run till 3 May. However, the government has released a new guideline, according to which some services will be exempted from April 20. Along with grocery and ration shops, e-commerce companies will also be able to start functioning. Necessary clearance will have to be obtained for vehicles used for delivery. In such a situation, Flipkart and Amazon have opened the phone category. It will be delivered after April 20.
Open Phone Booking on Flipkart
E-commerce company Flipkart has opened the phone category for customers. The company has said that they will deliver these phones nationwide, but will not deliver in West Bengal and Karnataka. The company is booking many other smartphones with Realme 6, Realme 6 Pro, Motorola Razor, Poco X2, Iku 3. However, this category is currently open on the company’s app. Booking has not started on the website yet.
The company has confirmed that by placing a new banner on its e-commerce platform, those orders will be taken only on the app. Along with the smartphone, the company is also offering offers like Mobile Protection, No-Coast EMI and Buyback Guarantee. Customers can now buy smartphones from companies like Oppo, Vivo, Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi.
Amazon will deliver in selected city
Amazon is offering live updates related to booking and delivery on its website. According to which the company is distributing other products along with the pantry in many cities. The company is updating the detail website of all these cities. Among the cities where the company is delivering are Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Faridabad, Gandhi Nagar, Guntur, Gurugram, Hooghly, Howrah, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mohali, Mumbai (including Thane), Mysuru, Nagpur, New Delhi, Noida, Panjim, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Satara, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Warangal.
On the other hand, the company is now delivering pantry items to 18 cities, including Bengaluru, Barrackpore, Chennai, Dehradun, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Howrah, Hyderabad, Kakinada, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, Includes Sonepat, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Warangal.
These services and shops will start from April 20
- Grocery and ration shops.
- Shops selling fruits and vegetables, cleaning goods.
- Dairy and milk booths, shops selling poultry, meat, fish, and fodder.
- Electricians, IT repairs, plumbers, motor mechanics, carpenters, couriers, DTH and cable services.
- E-commerce companies will be able to start work. Necessary clearance will have to be obtained for vehicles used for delivery.
- It will be the responsibility of the district administration to arrange for home delivery of all essential services.
