IAS Aarti Dogra is the live example who is shutting down the mouth of her critiques with her achievements.
Being specially-abled, her parents got advised by many to kill her. But her parents raised her and gave her education that made her capable to shut down the mouth of all such evil thinkers predominant in the society.
Due to some medical deficiency, her height stops increasing at an early age.
Aarti’s father, Colonel Dogra is an officer in the Indian Army and her mother is a school principal.
When Aarti was born, doctors informed the couple that their daughter not normal and she won’t be able to study in a normal school. But they decided to educate her in a normal school.
Source of inspiration
After graduation when she returned to Dehradun then she met with DM IAS Manisha who changed her thinking completely.
She got very motivated by her and decided to become an IAS.
She worked hard for it and cleared the written exam and interview in her very first attempt.
Some of her recent works and achievements
Under this program, she motivated people to not urinate in open spaces and use toilet rooms. Cemented toilets were made in villages and it’s monitoring was done by the mobile software.
This scheme was successfully implemented in 195-gram panchayats and then this was implemented in adjacent districts also.
Appointment as managing director in Jodhpur discom
She became the first women IAS officer being appointed as managing director in Jodhpur’s discom. After the appointment, she said that to control money wastage and electricity wastages, the responsibility of the officers from the junior engineer level to chief engineer will be decided.
In her career, she has been appointed in many reputed positions but recently she got appointed as joint secretary of Ashok Gahlot in Rajasthan.
