Former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni of the Indian cricket team hasn’t played any international match for India for a long time.

Dhoni’s fans hope that Dhoni will come in the T20 World Cup. The comeback of Dhoni’s in the Indian cricket team seems in trouble, due to Coronavirus.

Expecting to see his favorite player in the Indian Premier League, fans’ hearts might suffer due to Coronavirus. The BCCI decided to postpone the IPL starting from 29 March to 15 April. Now it is informed if the tournament doesn’t start till this date, then it will not be played this year i.e 2020.

The return to the Indian cricket team depends on the IPL for Dhoni. New chief selector Sunil Joshi and team coach Ravi Shastri have already stated clearly that Dhoni’s return to the team depends on his performance in the IPL. It seems that IPL could cancel this year i.e. 2020 due to the growing threat of Coronavirus. If the tournament doesn’t take place then Dhoni’s return will also be difficult.

If IPL doesn’t take place. Dhoni can get a place in the team before the T20 World Cup. How? India will play the series with the Sri Lanka team in June-July 2020.
