To preserve long battery life and to ensure the health of the battery, the one plus has come up with a brand-new optimized charging feature. Initially, it was spotted in the beta version in the month of December of the previous year. The feature is designed in such a way to stop charging automatically when the battery of your get charged by 80% percent and it is formatted in such a way that it will resume its charging only 100 minutes before you are expected to unplug your Smartphone. This feature is designed to minimize the time taken by the phone to get 100% charged which causes the batteries to off the phone to degrade faster. Apple also introduced the battery optimization feature with iOS 13 which is similar to this one. Asus phone software is also compatible with similar functionality.
The lone challenge for this OnePlus charging feature which will pose in front of the user is to identify the unplug pattern. On this subject, the one plus stated that its OxygenOS software will try to analyze their sleeping patterns by wake up alarms, or events that they had set on their phone and then it will set itself in such a way to function accordingly in such way. OnePlus goals to improve their predictions for charging according to the sleep patterns or when they change time zones. This one plus charging feature can be enabled or disabled from the battery settings menu.
OnePlus also stated that these updated charging features will show a muted notification when the battery of the phone will charge to 80%, but the users have the freedom to turn off this feature whenever they want to.
But this is still a mystery that no one plus professionals and media leaks attempted to solve. It is not clear that which OnePlus device will be housed with this technology or when it will actually be available for the consumers. Now, It is available in the beta form.
