After seeing the pictures given below, it is clear that there were no conditions for the match to be held and if the rain happened like this, then the series might have to be canceled.
A series is being organized in Pakistan after 10 years. The first match of the three-match ODI series being played against Sri Lanka had to be canceled due to rain. Not a single ball was thrown in the match, due to the rain and the water accumulated outside the field. After seeing the pictures, it is clear that there were no conditions to hold the match and if the rain happened like this, then the series might have to be canceled.
All three matches of the ODI series are to be held at Karachi National Stadium in Pakistan. The first match was washed out and the second match was decided a day before. When the pictures of the field came out after the rain, the question of the series was raised.
Due to the rain, water was accumulated outside the ground in such a way that it gets deposited in the cities after the flood. Journalists who came to cover the match were seen walking out of the stadium with their shoes in their hands (You May See In Give Picture Below).
The water was so full in front of the audience’s seating area that it was difficult even for the camera man to stand there.

It was also difficult for them to cross the road when the spectators were coming out of the stadium after the match was canceled. People had to cross the road forming human chains holding each other’s hands (You May See In Give Picture Below).
The motorcycle standing there was half drowned and the people sitting on it were wondering how to get to the other side of the road.
