Pulwama Terror Attack First Anniversary | 14th Feb 2019

This was the biggest attack on soldiers since 1989. This attack shocked the entire nation. Today’s 14th Feb 2020 has been one year for this attack. And, the peoples of the country and leaders of the country are paying tribute to the soldiers on this day.

Black day of February 14, 2019: Last year the same day February 14, 2019, when the whole nation was in tears due to the martyrdom of their soldiers. It was 3:30 in the afternoon when the terrorists attacked the convoy of brave soldiers. In this, 40 soldiers of the country martyrs. It has been a year for this tragic incident, but the pain of the Pulwama attack is still in the hearts of nations. At the same time, today these soldiers are also being paid tribute.

Tribute To Soldiers Who Martyr In Pulwama Attack

People of India tributed to the brave martyrs who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack last year. Said, it was the most different who dedicated his life to serve and protect our nation. India will never forget their martyrdom. India will always be grateful to our brave and their families who made the supreme sacrifice for the sovereignty and integrity of our motherland.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh recalled the martyred soldiers during the brutal attack in Pulwama (J&K) on the same day on 14th Feb 2019, Said, India will never forget their sacrifice. The entire nation is united against terrorism and we are committed to continuing our fight against this threat.

When and How Attacked

The CRPF’s 78 buses were passing through National Highway 44 carrying around 2500 personnel. Like every time, this convoy was moving without stopping the movement of other vehicles on the road. Many soldiers sitting in buses were on their way back home on leave.

Just then a car coming from the other side of the road collided with a bus running with this convoy. This was followed by a forceful explosion, in which the body of the jawans along with the bus also flew. Before the soldiers could understand anything or take their position to answer the attack, the terrorists started firing on them. The CRPF personnel also retaliated but the terrorists managed to escape from there.

In a short time, this news spread like fire through the media. Everyone was angry with this attack. 40 The CRPF personnel was killed in this attack. These soldiers were from the 76 battalions of CRPF. Apart from this, many jawans were injured.
