Sunil Gavaskar said in his statement, “Of course I’d love to see Dhoni in the T20 World Cup, but it not possible. The team has moved on. Dhoni will not take the big decision, so I believed that he will slowly withdraw from the game peacefully. “Note: MS Dhoni has not played a single match since New Zealand in the semi-final of the World Cup in England last year i.e. 2019. Although he seems to comeback in IPL 2020, the IPL has been postponed due to the Coronavirus. So, as of now, it seems not possible.
