Here, the Red color indicates-Aadhaar has been deactivated. Green will indicate that your Aadhaar is still active to be used everywhere required. Aadhaar Card Update- The Aadhaar card has become an important document and the Indian government has made it mandatory to link the Aadhaar card with the pan card of an individual, so it is important to know that you can now make changes online in the Aadhaar card online portal. Important (Things that cannot be changed for more than once in your Aadhaar Card) - UIDAI Aadhaar Special Update-There are two things which cannot be modified in your Aadhaar card for more than once, regardless of the online or offline Aadhaar Enrollment centers. Date of Birth - Birth-dates cannot be changed more than once in Aadhaar card, the date the birth date given by the applicant at the time of registration can be changed only once in the form of the Aadhaar card, then it cannot be rectified again over lifetime. Gender - The same uniform rule has been made for the gender of the applicant as well. It cannot be changed more than once, but if in case you need to change the gender for the first time in your Aadhaar card, then it is mandatory to visit the Regional Office of your area. Steps to Reactivate your Aadhaar Card- Documents those were required at the time of registration of your Aadhaar Card when it was first issued, the same documents will be required to reactivated the base card once it get deactivated. Go to the Aadhaar Enrollment Center, fill the Aadhaar Card Updation form and the biometric verification will be done, after all the procedures the Aadhaar Card will be activated again. A nominal fee of Rs.50 will be charged, when the Updation form will be submitted at the Enrollment center.
