THE BEST 5G PHONES OF 2019
SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 5G
Samsung has taken the pledge of introducing 5G with the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, the super-fast variant of the Samsung Galaxy S10 range. In fact it’s a major upgrade over the standard S10, with a bigger immersive screen and better camera as well as that 5G capability.
The phone comes with a 6.7-inch QHD AMOLED display, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. A huge 4,500mAh battery is on board too, and you get the same reversible wireless charging trick as the other S10 phones offer.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G phone is slowly rolling out to markets across the world now, but expect to pay a premium over the standard Samsung Galaxy S10.
HUAWEI MATE X
Stay Back and watch the wonder of the Huawei Mate X – the foldable phone unveiled by Huawei at MWC 2019 that throws in 5G concept. This has seriously proven to be a good-looking device with seriously fast upload and download speeds to go with it.
When folded, there are screens front and back for you to use, whereas when opened, the Mate X sports an 8-inch display for all your multitasking needs. The grip on the side helps you hold it in tablet mode and holds the camera system too.
Users will also get a Kirin 980 processor, 8GB of RAM, 512GB massive storage, and of course that Balong 5000 multi-mode 5G chipset. Battery capacity is 4,500mAh keeping everything powered. It falls in the luxurious phone category of 2019.
OPPO RENO 5G
This is a pretty addition to the 5G phone, officially unveiling the Oppo Reno, a brand new, 5G flagship phone.
The Oppo Reno 5G comes with a 6.6-inch edge-to-edge OLED display, a large 4,065mAh battery, 10x lossless hybrid zoom camera and, yes, a 5G modem. It also features a pop-up wedge selfie camera which is not so common yet. In short, the Oppo Reno 5G looks like a real 5G phone contender.
Oppo finalized a deal with Qualcomm to use its components and technology in its devices-users can also enjoy world’s first 5g VIDEO CALL with OPPO RENO 5G.
LG V50 THINQ
The LG V50 ThinQ may not carry the “wow” appeal as compared to the Huawei Mate X, but it’s one of the strong 5G phone in its own way – and it’s even foldable. The phone was firstly launched parallel with the LG G8 ThinQ at MWC 2019 in Barcelona, carrying the Snapdragon 855 processor, a 6.4-inch QHD+ OLED display, and a triple-lens camera system around the back. Those who look for a decent specs smart phone can shop for this flagship phone in 2019.
It is available in the market by now.
XIAOMI MI MIX 3
The 5G Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 was confirmed in late October, and after MWC 2019, we all know it was going to be available in May 2019, putting it to the rush of 5G smart phones release schedule.
Keeping the 5G aspect parallel, the Mi Mix 3 looks like a strong device, with a magnetically sliding 6.39-inch OLED display embedded in a sleek bezel-less design, and a set of hardware that includes a maximum of 10GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space, as well as a dual rear camera system (24MP + 2MP).
The device can be one of most exciting for users looking to upgrade to a 5G phone this year and that makes it one of the more affordable phones we’ve seen up to this mark.
HUAWEI P30 PRO
The Huawei Mate X is real and officially unveiled. But Huawei’s fans no need to worry as the brand is all set to launch an affordable diva in 5G concept. The Huawei executive confirmed that 5G would feature “if not for P30, then for sure it will be in the Mate series coming September”.
That’s an interesting consideration to process in regards to 5G, with the tech needing both more space and power in the device.
For now the Huawei P30 Pro is out, and we know that 5G isn’t included. We are now going to have to wait for the Mate 30 series later in the year to get that ultra-fast connectivity, buffer free video streaming – considering how good the Mate 20 handsets from 2018 were, we should be in for a treat.
ONEPLUS 7 OR ONEPLUS 7T
One Plus company has been “working with US carriers” to bring the best 5G smartphone to market-ONE PLUS 7 and ONE PLUS 7T. This means the One Plus 7 or possibly the One Plus 7T is set 5G phone – the sequels to previous year’s One Plus 6 and One Plus 6T.
This all makes a lot of sense, as 5G would be a perfect fit for the new generation. With its speed for crazy multitasking and performance syncing well with the rapid data transfer speeds of 5G, One Plus would definitely make it a PLUS.
Considering that One Plus knows what it is doing in terms of hardware, too, with this year’s One Plus 6 flagship absolutely clears the benchmark tests, a 5G-enabled device launched this year would make it a no-brainer insta-buy.
