1. Redmi 8A
Xiaomi has increased its budget share from Redmi 7A to Redmi 8A. Like other phones in the A-series, they are priced below 7000 and they offer great value for the price. The Redmi 8A is no exception. Apart from the good hardware, it does look good. On the front, there is a 6.22-inch large HD + display with a small bezel and a V-shaped marker that also has a front selfie camera. The display is nice and sharp, with good contrast, color, and viewing angles.
The Redmi 8A comes with a single 12MP on the back and an 8MP camera at the front. It’s a budget device, but the camera performance isn’t bad at all. Instead, it can take surprisingly good photos in outdoor daylight conditions. This is the case with the front camera. Although indoor performance is average.
The Redmi 8A Snapdragon comes with 439 chipsets with 2 or 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The price difference is very small in 2 variants so we recommend you go with the higher 3GB variants as it will definitely be helpful in multi-tasking.
The battery within 5000mAh of the Redmi 8A is massive and can last up to 3 days on a single charge with minimal use. Even with moderate usage, you will see a 2-day battery backup which is great. Due to the large battery, the phone is slightly heavier and weighs 190 grams, which is the only negative point of the Redmi 8A.
On the whole, the Redmi 8A7000 is a great phone with a large battery, excellent display, and decent internal hardware.

The Redmi 7A comes after the huge success of the Redmi 5A and 6A. It has a 5.45-inch display with bezels on both the top and bottom. The back is made of plastic with the same color and comes in 3 back colors Black, Blue and Gold. The phone is solid in terms of quality but, sadly, the design is not as stylish as seen in a similarly priced Realme C2 and falls short on the look of the phone.
It has a Snapdragon 739 processor with 2GB of RAM. There are 16GB and 32GB storage variants and the memory can be increased to 256GB with a dedicated SD card slot. Excellent performance by browsing daily, YouTube videos, and playing light games.
The back of the camera has a 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor and a 5MP sensor for the front camera. The camera app comes in a variety of ways, such as Pro mode, HDR mode, and has a video recording capability that has full HD resolution, which is a lot to ask from the phone at 6k.
The phone works well with outdoor lighting conditions in detail. The front camera also does a decent job of pricing with good day photos. You need to keep the camera steady otherwise the shots will fade.
You get a 4000mAh battery that provides up to 2 days of backup and supports 10W fast charging, however, the box only has a 5W charger bundle with more than 2 hours for full charging. It takes time. There is no fingerprint sensor, but you get the face opening feature.
This phone is splash-proof and comes with MIUI 10, which is based on the Android Pie operating system.
