Twitter group product manager Mo. launching this service. Al Adam said, “Twitter is the place where people go to chat and talk. We want people to interact in different ways on Twitter with less pressure and more control. So we are testing a new way of sharing their Fleeting ideas. Since testing the Fleets in Brazil, Twitter has noticed that people are now more comfortable sharing their ideas. People who don’t usually tweet are also starting the dialogue and doing both Fleets and Tweets. When people send a Fleet, they often share many ideas fast. ”
Manish Maheshwari, MD of Twitter India stated, “India is important to Twitter as it is one of our largest and fastest-growing audience markets globally. We are excited to bring the use of Fleets to India and make it one of the first three countries in the world to experience this new product. By testing in India, we will learn that adding a new way of communication changes the way Indians connect on Twitter. It will also be interesting to see if it can become of many use by allowing people to share whatever is going on in their minds in a light-hearted way.
