The china based smartphone company Vivo declared that it will end launching online-exclusive smartphones in India as per their 2020 strategy. Jerome Chen, CEO of the Vivo India, quoted in a letter to its retail partners in India that the organization will take care of launching the same product\variant at the same time and in the same price range at all units through their channels. now, the Vivo brand will have the same price and offers in all their units via offline or online modes. Chen stated that it is their duty to content their users, business partners, employees and shareholders with good decisions and better services.
He further added in his statement while addressing the offline partners to bear with them and create a better experience for the customers that can appreciate more traffic to their product.
AIMRA, All India Mobile Retailers Association had paid gratitude to the Vivo brand for their initiative. AIMRA tweeted that they thank and appreciate the initiative taken by the Vivo India for the support that they gave against the unjustifiable e-commerce practices. They added that together they can create fair business opportunities by bringing changes for mobile retailers.
