As per the previous news that has got viral over the social media that Funtouch OS is going to be renamed as Jovi OS but according to the new update, Vivo has canceled the renaming and the fun touch OS version is going to Launch in the market on its initial name.
The Vivo announced it officially that it is not going the rename it’s Funtouch OS version but launch the model soon in the market.
Vivo is going to reveal a brand-new version of the Funtouch OS on 16th December and the product will not be renamed. The announcement was made by the product manager of Funtouch OS on Weibo. It is news of the last month that the company is going to rename its Funtouch OS but now it appears that they are not going to do it. The post on Weibo revealed that the company after having some discussions decided that it won’t be going to rename its Funtouch OS to Jovi OS. The new model of the Funtouch OS version will be revealed along with new Vivo X30 flagship series.
Through a post on the social media, the product manager of the Funtouch OS version apologized for causing confusion regarding the launch of the OS version. Earlier, the company has shared a post revealing the new logo design of the OS version.
At a first glance, it appeared that the Vivo is going to launch a new OS version along with the Funtouch OS version but soon it became clear that the Jovi OS was just the renaming. With the new launch, we will observe that there would not be anything new in the designing and the features but it will be based on the Android OS version. But the newer version that is planned to step in the market will be featured with new designing and improvements.
The Jovi OS will be continued to be used as the name for the Vivo’s AI assistant. According to the news, the new arrival of the Funtouch OS version will be featured to house some of the specifications such as application sharing, which enables the sharing of the app. A short teaser has been released by the company showcasing the arrival of the new feature on the OS version as well. There is a rumour that it will house features to monitor apps between two devices but can’t be said with cent percent certainty that it will be housing this kind of feature.
There is a very short time left in the Lunching of the Vivo X30 and new InTouch OS version. The Vivo X30 series will become the first-ever model to use the FuntouchOS version in it. The model is said to house Exynos 980 5G chipset.
