Vivo Z1x India Launch Set for September 6, Will Be Exclusive to Flipkart
Vivo Z1x, the upcoming phone of Vivo Z-series, has got a launch date in India. The phone, which is claimed to provide smooth performance and handle high-end games with ease, will be launched in the country on 6 September. However before the official launch of the phone, Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo Z1x will be exclusive to Flipkart. According to a promotional video, the Vivo Z1x will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and waterdrop style notch, while there will be a triple rear camera setup to handle photography.
Vivo states in its press release that the Vivo Z1x will be exclusive to Flipkart when launched. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer notes that the phone is “designed for consumers who are performance-oriented and prefer to play heavy-density games on their handsets.” And since Vivo Z1 Pro is equipped with Snapdragon 712 SoC, we expect Vivo V1 X Pro. To step up and sport a more powerful Snapdragon processor to justify its gaming chops.
The publicized image on the official Vivo India Twitter handle says that the phone will be launched in India on 6 September. It also gives us our first look at the Vivo Z1x, which is depicted in two gradient colors that appear to be blue and purple. On the front, a waterdrop notch can be seen at the top, while the imprint of the in-display fingerprint scanner is also clearly visible at the bottom of the screen.

According to a short promotional video released by Vivo, the in-display fingerprint sensing module on the Vivo Z1X is called the Flash in-display fingerprint. The video also shows that the phone will sport a triple rear camera. According to a report by SmartPrix, the upcoming Vivo phone will be equipped with a 48-megapixel camera that will employ the Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor.
Additionally, the official product page preview of the Vivo Z1x mentions that the phone will be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 22.5W flash charge technology owned by the company. The phone is also mentioned to pack a 6.38-inch display that will feature Waterdrop Notch. The product page also states that the Vivo Z1x will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and will let users capture photos with a high level of detail. However, it is unclear whether the latter will be obtained with a high-resolution main camera or dedicated telephoto lens with zooming capabilities.
