WhatsApp has introduced a new sticker pack called ‘Together at Home’. The instant messaging giant created these stickers in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO). These stickers will help people to express their feelings during coronavirus outbreaks worldwide. It is known to you all that the outbreak of Kovid-19 disease is facing the whole world at this time. In many countries, people are facing lockdowns and in other countries are locked in their homes to adopt social distancing. These new stickers have been made keeping this in mind. Sticker packs will be available in English, Hindi and many other languages. WhatsApp introduced the sticker feature two years ago and since then it has become quite popular on social platforms.
The new sticker pack has been released under the name ‘Together at Home’, which means ‘together at home’. The name suggests that this pack is related to the sentiments of people locked up in homes. It has a sticker, which shows a man wearing pajamas with a laptop, apparently showing people working from home. WhatsApp is trying to promote social distancing through stickers depicting ‘air high five’ and group video calling. Also inside the pack is a sticker that shows a man in bed watching a TV series, another person doing yoga with his dog, reminding people to wash their hands, people in the balcony Talking, and using binoculars a woman is tracking neighbors. WhatsApp “Together at Home” sticker pack is available inside the app and can be downloaded for free. It is currently available in English as well as 10 other languages, including Arabic, French, German, Indonesian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, etc. These languages are according to the country. This pack is available in English and Hindi in India.
The company has recently made changes to the group calling feature to improve the WhatsApp experience. Earlier, a maximum of four users could make video calls, but now in the new beta version, a maximum of eight users can make group calls simultaneously. Although this feature is currently released for beta users, it is expected to be released to all users soon.
