MI has just launched Mi Band 4 in China. The wearable device succeeds the company’s popular fitness tracker Mi Band 3, which was launched last year. Mi Band 4 will go on sale in the country from 14 June.
The new Xiaomi wearable comes in two models. The fitness tracker without NFC is priced at yuan 169 (about Rs 1700) and the NFC one is priced at yuan 229 (about Rs 2,300). With NFC support, Mi Band can be used to pay via AliPay and WeChat Pay in China.
There is also an Avengers Limited Edition of the Mi Band 4 that comes with a color band, a custom metal dial and a matching metal wrist buckle. Its price is Yuan 349 which is around 3,500 rupees.
Last month, Honor unveiled the Honor Band 5 fitness tracker with the Honor 9X in China. It will be announced in India tomorrow (8 August) and will be available through Flipkart.
Honor Band 5 is a budget fitness tracker with minimalistic design, OLED display and comes in colors such as Meteorite Black, Midnight Blue and Coral Pink. The display is a 0.95 inch color panel at 240 x 120 resolution and is covered by 2.5D curved glass and supports touch input. The display can be decorated with various watch faces and below it is a physical home button.
The Mi Band 4 is water resistant up to 50 meters and comes with a sensor that can identify a variety of sports modes, activity and swimming styles. It has a 135mAh battery and comes with common fitness trackers such as step counter and heart rate monitor.

The Xiao AI voice assistant in Mi Band 4 can be used to control the fitness tracker on voice commands. The voice assistant is activated when users lift their wrist. Xiao AI can be used to control Xiaomi IoT products, set schedules, play music and more.
