Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 specifications, launch date, price and rumors
Xiaomi is equip up to present the Redmi Note 8 series on August 29 at an event in China. The new line-up will follow the company’s Redmi Note 7 series which was launched in India on February 28 this year. Redmi followed this with the Note 7S, which was announced on 20 May. And now, Xiaomi is ready to unveil the next generation of its very popular Note series.

Mobile phone turf has seen a lot of growth in the last quarter and features such as pop-up cameras, in-display fingerprint sensors and multiple cameras for consumers under various budget segments.
That being said, the Redmi Note series is a very important lineup for the Chinese electronics manufacturer, which is why it is doubling down on enriching the feature of the phone.

Xiaomi gonna announce on Aug 29,2019 Redmi Note 8 in China along with Redmi Note 8 Pro on August 29. Either phone is expected to have a 64MP camera.
Xiaomi recently revealed that it was developing a phone with Samsung’s Bright GW1 64MP camera sensor and it will be launched soon.
Now it has been confirmed that the phone in question is none special other than Redmi Note 8 Pro which will have a 64MP quad camera setup on the rear. Xiaomi has also teased that the 64MP camera will offer up to 25x zoom.
The Redmi Note 8 will also sport a quad camera setup, but with a 48MP primary camera.[the_ad_placement id=”after-post”]
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 release date
Xiaomi has confirmed through the Chinese social networking site Weibo that it is going to unveil the next generation of the Redmi Note series on August 29. Earlier, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had indicated that two phones would appear in the series during August 29. Event where the company will also release its much awaited Redmi TV wrap.
The event will be held in China and we can expect Xiaomi to announce three new products – Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi TV.

Redmi Note 8 price
While Xiaomi hasn’t offered many beans in the upcoming Redmi Note 8 series, we do know that the Pro version in the lineup will definitely have a 64MP camera in addition to three more sensors. So, it has a 64MP quad camera setup that we are looking at for the Redmi Note 8 Pro.
From the invitation that appears on Weibo, we can see the fingerprint sensor in three cameras as well as a single vertical module. A camera sensor and flash are adjacent to the main camera module.
Redmi Note 8 Pro will be powered by Mediatek G90T chipset while Redmi Note 8 will use Snapdragon 665.
Some rumors have also indicated that the Redmi Note 8 will support 18W fast charging, but apart from this, no concrete information is available on the specifications of the Redmi Note 8 series as yet.
Having said that, we expect the rumor mills to deliver some important details on the upcoming phones as we get closer to the launch date.[the_ad_placement id=”after-post”]

Less than a week before launch, Xiaomi took to Weibo to share the official render of both devices. As expected, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is very similar to the Redmi K20 but with an additional camera and a fingerprint scanner on the back. We also got a new green color which was not available on the Redmi K20.

Soon after, Xiaomi teased the Redmi Note 8 by sharing a render that gives us a glimpse of the back panel. We can expect a similar quad-camera setup, but with a 48MP primary camera. The same post also mentioned that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 665.
